Did Adam Lambert Go Too Far in His 2009 AMA Performance?

Recent stories indicated his record label was trying to play down his homosexuality. I think this was just a slap in their face, albeit, a dainty, girly slap.

I think there is a double standard when you make this out to be worse than the Madonna/Brittne-y kiss, but remember...that was on MTV, not local cable airing during "family" viewing hours. There is a time and place for everything and I, personally, feel it was inappropriate.
