Some very popular iPhone apps that have helped reach that number are Facebook, Google Earth, and Pandora Radio – All of them are free to download.
Free apps are most popular, but Advertising Platform AdMob estimates that 1 in 4 iPhone apps are paid for.
Even though most of them cost less than a few bucks, more expensive apps for medical references or audio tools, for example, are gaining popularity.
The most expensive app right now costs $900, it lets users access and control live surveillance cameras.
