D'Angelo Lee, the former city planning commissioner convicted in the Dallas City Hall corruption trial, was taken into custody this afternoon for improperly contacting a juror.

Lee is expected to remain jailed until his Feb. 26 sentencing for bribery and extortion. Lee, along with former city councilman Don Hill, was convicted in what some call the biggest public corruption trial in Dallas history after milking hundreds of thousands of dollars from housing developers in exchange for Hill's vote on housing projects.

Both Lee and Hill face up to 95 years in prison for the bribery and extortion scheme.
