Boat owners at Eagle Mountain Marina near Fort Worth spent the day taking inventory after Wednesday night's storms. One vessel sunk, and several others damaged when high winds caused the marina roof to collapse.

Managers spent the day assessing damage. Kitty Wade says, " The roofs were all ripped off, the docks were completely smashed together."

Winds literally peeled metal off the marina roof like a banana and twisted beams in every direction. The docks cement sidewalks were thrown about around like childrens blocks. Some who witnessed the storm yesterday evening think it was more than high winds.

Wade says, "It wasn't winds, it was definitely a funnel cloud, I've been through tornados in nebraska and it was definitely a funnel."

When the storm first hit a group of teenagers were still in a docked boat. They were Kitty Wade's first concern. She says, " I had eight teenagers that were trapped on the boat so I ran out there and got them off the boat and brought them back to safety."

Today with all accounted for and no injuries, managers spent the day seeing what can be saved and what is a complete loss.

So far, the damage is so extensive here that managers are already saying its well over $1 million.

With more than 200 boats calling this harbor home, owners come and go all day. Boat owner Skip Proctor says, "I come out to check on my boat and of course I'm one of the fortunate, lucky ones where the dock I'm on didn't sustain any at all, no damage to the boat."
