Cutting costs with led christmas lights
With this week's snowfall across North Texas, it sure is beginning to feel more like Christmas. And in Garland, the workers from The Christmas Light Company of Dallas know it too. Not only are they bundling up, they're installing Christmas lights on Main Street.

These are not your typical Holiday lights, however. These are new led lights which use up to 85% less energy than conventional lights. When you install thousands, or even millions of these lights, the cost savings and energy conservation can add up, says Bill Rathburn of The Christmas Light Company of Dallas. "The led conversion is beautiful. We can all do our part to lower our greenhouse emissions and lower our power consumption."

Not only are they putting up lights in Garland, they have installed them in the Highland Park Village Shopping Center, The Gaylord Texan Resort, Victory Park, the Galleria and the Firewheel Mall. Millions and millions of led lights using 85% less electricity can really add up.
