Luis Manuel Gonzalez is wanted for murder

Grand Prairie police have identified a suspect in the homicide of a man who left a 24-Hour Fitness and was later found dead in a park.

Detectives say Luis Manuel Gonzalez, 33, is responsible for the death of Gerardo Castanon-Banuelos in January.

Castanon-Banuelos was found Jan. 23 at McFall's Park in the 1400 block of S. Carrier Parkway. He was last seen alive at a 24-Hour Fitness at Highway 183 and Story Road in Irving. Police believe Castanon-Banuelos may have left the 24-Hour Fitness with someone because his car was left at the gym.

Investigators say Gonzales is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds He may be driving a 2001 gray, two-door Ford Mustang with Texas license plates 210 NMR.
