"We're going to put up 15 to 20 airplanes. We have a few coming in from out of town to help out," said Doug Jeanes, Director of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum.
Fireworks start around 9:30 p.m. After the show, there's a free screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark in Addison Circle Park.
Saturday festivities begin at 9 a.m. with a parade in downtown Irving. Fireworks in Irving start at five. Then at three o'clock, they'll light up the sky at South Fork Ranch. At 4 p.m., "Frisco Freedom Fest" takes place at Frisco City Hall.
Dallas' official Independence Day celebration takes place at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park. The action starts at 4:30 p.m. and last until 10 p.m.
Most of the museums are free until 7:30 p.m. These include the Women's Museum, the Museum of the American Railroad, Museum of Nature and Science, the African American Museum and Texas Discovery Gardens.

The Dallas Wind Symphony will perform, followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
