For the fashion oblivious, she can help you find your perfect style. But lately, Valerie Elizabeth, owner of Society Stylist, has been hearing, "I feel like I have nothing to wear, but I just don't have any more money to spend." So she's starting the "Little Black Dress Experiment' to show that all you need is one, simple staple.

She says, "If I could wear one black dress for 31 days and dress it differently by accessorizing it differently, than certainly the average person that has 200 pieces in their wardrobe can deal with what they have in their closet."

Valerie will wear her LBD every day for a month straight and post pictures on her blog. But yes, she will get to clean it. She says, "I actually have two of the same dress, it was made by a designer Ellie Grace."

She's a local designer who sells at Willow Bend and the new dress will be called "The Valerie". When she modeled a few of the looks she plans to wear over the next month she started by making the dress into a shirt.

She says, "This is another way to wear the dress I can pair it with jeans that's a little more casual, add a belt add a little color." Then she changes into work wear, with a pop of purple color. She says, "It's great for day, I added this great little coat, kind of gives it a different look." And finally, adding pizzaz by switching accessories once again. It's a transition into night.

Valerie's creativity helped LeAnne Locken weed through her clothes. She says, "My closet was overflowing with stuff I didn't need and stuff that still had tags on it." Now she thinks like French women dress, simple, tailored and classic. LeAnne says, "I think really the true key to fashion is wait for the right piece, it's like waiting for the right guy." It's a lesson Valerie hopes to pass on to women everywhere.
