Plano, TX - Most shoppers these days are always looking at nutritional labels. For many, it's the first thing they do when they pick up a product. In the dairy aisle, those labels are full of ingredients they may not even recognize. While specialty grocery stores carry all natural dairy items, most do not.

If you're looking for all natural dairy products, you can stop by stores like Whole Foods, Market Street, Sprouts and a few others, or just head on up to Plano and stop by Lavon Farm. That's where the Lucky Layla brand dairy products originate.

Todd Moore, a 3rd generation farmer, oversees his 200-acre farm and 180 plus dairy cows, and is quite proud that all his dairy products are all natural. "You know this is local. It's all natural and you can come see where the cows are milked. We'll let you tour our creamery".

While visiting Lavon Farm, I noticed there was quite a crowd on hand that visits the Plano farm almost daily. From raw milk, yogurt and cheese to creamy butter, the fridge was full of all natural dairy. They even make their own caramel. I didn't try the caramel, but I did drink the raw milk which was just hours old. It was very rich and creamy.

It's a great place to take the family, especially if you like cows, and their babies! There were several baby calves. One only two days old. Very cute animals. It's worth the trip.
