Paul Lemus says, "I think beer sells itself. I don't think you have to have a half-naked woman out here to sell the beer."
Business owner Chris Cleveland says the dress code works. By his own words, he hires cute girls. Customers don't seem to mind. "So anybody show what you have. There's nothing wrong with it," says customer Alatero Gonzales.
Carhops say they're not trying to be provocative, and that what they wear at work is the same as what they wear at home. "I use these clothes in my house, when I go outside, in my job. Every time I use these clothes," says Elisabath Brionas. What's more, they argue, that in the summer, kids see more skin at a swimming pool than they do at the beer barn where they work.
Parents argue there's more. Concerned parent Mechelle Jaramillo says "The thing is that they're dancing provocatively, dancing around the flag pole. Is that respectful to our country?"
Cleveland says they are doing what they can to make the residents happy and has put an end to dancing around the flag pole. He says his business is all about marketing, though he insists he would also hire more average looking carhops.
