Now Orbe is sharing secrets with us to achieving glamorous summer locks.Oribe came to fort Worth Salon Gold Waves to talk about his new product line and to show stylists how to use them to achieve the most gorgeous summer trends.
Humidity is a fact in summer, and you can't escape it. But Oribe says sometimes you shouldn't fight it. When hair is its frizziest, you have several options.
Go big: Add extensions, tease hair to the fullest and spray hairspray to maintain volume. Curl hair with large curlers to tame the frizz but keep the height and then fan our locks for a full glamorous look.
Slick it back: oribe is a big fan of old classics like Audrey Hepburn. he says a neat bun can do wonders for a woman's face and show her sophisticated side. He recommends using his gel to get a smooth pony tail with sheen. You can wear it with the pony hanging down, or one of Oribe's favorite accessories is a bow. Tie it at the band then wrap hair around and secure in a funky position. It makes an edgy and cool hairstyle that people will notice.
Short Hair: If you have short hair, tease hair to add volume at the crown of the head, but allow short segments around the face to stay natural. Use products like molds or putties to help keep hair in place, but allow for soft movement.
