A high tech company in Richardson, Texas creates cutting edge computer worlds it says enables you to pre-live the future.

Nick Giannis, the Vice President of research and technology for Presagis says, "through simulation and visualization you can actually live a moment before you actually have to do it."

Giannis says through global satellite imagery, their software and classified military coordinates, Presagis can let soldiers simulate raids on specific streets in baghdad, down to the pot holes in the road.

"The better prepared you are, the better chances of success." Giannis says you can, "look at it at different angles, look at what the best approaches would be, find out what the safest way of accomplishing the mission would be."

Then rehearse it over and over again to give soldiers better odds of survival and mission success.

For maritime simulations, programmers can change the water from still, to choppy to stormy, simulating every weather condition. And, in the skies, pilots can fly over any terrain in the world with the click of a mouse.

Plus, its artificial intelligence program can generate predictable behaviors for people. "So pedestrians act like pedestrians, bad guys act like bad guys." Giannis says every detail matters, from street signs to the texture of the seats inside the building.

Cody Starr, the head of product development for Presagis, says, "the people that worked on the wave simulation for the movie Titanic actually came in and helped us develop this wave model."

So before the ships set sail or the bullets start flying, sailors, soldiers and first responders will have an advantage.

"That simulation lets them practice things that otherwise they would not be able to practice." Giannis says, "it's all about being prepared."
