Black Friday shoppers may have seemed hardcore in the past, but this year deal seekers ditched the turkey and the Cowboys game to gobble up savings. Some 700 Old Navy, Banana Republic and Gap stores opened their doors on Thanksgiving Day for the first time this year.
Shoppers were able to take advantage of Black Friday deals and beat the crowds. Old Navy had a special on scarves and outwear fleece, while Banana Republic's cashmere sweaters were buy one get one free.
Managers said the items won't be discounted any further-- and Thanksgiving shoppers truly got the sweetest deal.
