LOS ANGELES -- Legendary talk show host Larry King as filed for divorce from his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, after 13 years of marriage.
King filed the divorce papers Wednesday in L.A. County Superior Court. He blames the couple's split on "irreconcilable differences."
However, sources tell celebrity wensite TMZ that the real reason behind the split is because of an alleged affair between King and Southwick's sister, Shannon Engemann.
Engemann has denied the affair, but the TMZ source says Southwick has said she has proof of the affair.
King, 76, and Southwick, 50, were married back in 1997 and have two sons together.
Moments after King filed his papers, Southwick filed her own divorce documents through her attorney.
Southwick is asking for primary custody of the children as well as spousal and child support.
She is also asking for real estate, including the couple's Beverly Hills home.

King and Southwick's marriage has been rocky for some time.
In June of 2008, Southwick entered rehab for addiction to migraine pain medication.
