The Texas Tornado were founded in 1999 when they first expanded into the NAHL. They began play in North Richland Hills where they stayed for 3 years until making the move to Frisco and the Dr Pepper Arena.
This year marks the Tornado's 10th anniversary, and over the past 10 years they have compiled a 353-132-0-29 overall record. In that time they have also accumulated four national championships, winning in 2001 and three consecutive titles from 2004-2006.
